Digital health company, Adherium (ASX:ADR), has announced the appointment of Vik Panda as its new vice president of marketing.
Mr Panda, who will be based at the company's headquarters in California, brings significant senior experience in direct-to-consumer marketing to the company focussed on technology designed to improve medication adherence and patient outcomes.
Most recently, he was CEO at Findyr, a crowdsourcing data collection platform. He also previously served as chief marketing officer at Fitocracy, an online game and health-based social network, and earned a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from New York University.
According to Arik Anderson, Adherium CEO, “We warmly welcome Vik Panda to the Adherium team. Vik’s extensive experience in building large communities of users in the wellness sector will be directly applied to Adherium’s direct-to-consumer sales channel to build our increasing number of patients that are directly adopting our Smartinhaler sensor and Smartinhaler App to self-manage their Asthma or COPD.

Adherium recently announced it had reached a number of new commercial milestones, including sale of the 100,000th Smartinhaler sensor, FDA clearance of its next generation Smartinhaler for AstraZeneca’s Symbicort aerosol inhaler, as well as the launch of it next generation device for AstraZeneca’s Symbicort Turbuhaler.
