Moderna is seeking applicants for its Global Fellowship Program.

The program began last year with eight of the 34 awardees representing Australian medical research institutes and universities.

The company's 2023 Global Fellowship Program will award approximately 25 new fellowships worldwide to scientists and healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines such as basic research, clinical medicine, epidemiology, pharmacology, and nursing – with a focus on mRNA science, immuno-oncology, personalised cancer vaccines, as well as infectious disease, rare, cardiovascular, and autoimmune diseases.

The program aims to provide opportunities to members of the scientific and healthcare community to be at the forefront of developing science and to understand evolving disease state challenges better.

Awards will span between one to three years, supporting salary costs and research expenses throughout that time period.

An independent steering committee of international experts in science, medicine, and healthcare reviews applications.

Applications are now open and will run through January 31, 2023 (apply here).
