AusBiotech is bringing Australia’s premier medical technology event, AusMedtech, to Sydney, New South Wales, in 2025 – the first time the conference has ever been held in the state.
As the flagship event of Australia’s biggest week in medtech, the AusMedtech 2025 national conference will be hosted in NSW from 7-8 May at the ICC Sydney.
AusMedtech attracts more than 450 medical technology developers and professionals from across Australia and overseas, bringing the ecosystem together to discuss the latest medtech advancements and trends impacting the sector.
Running in its eighteenth year, AusMedtech 2025’s two-day programme will include:

Australia’s life science ecosystem has experienced strong growth over the past five years. As revealed in AusBiotech-commissioned research, the sector is rapidly expanding, with 50 per cent growth between 2019 and 2022, for the first time exceeding the number of therapeutic companies developing life-enhancing and life-saving technologies in Australia.
