New investor guide profiles biotech companies to watch

AusBiotech

Australian biotechnology will be spotlighted in just four weeks AusBioInvest 2022 and it is the focus of the recently released Health and Biotech Investor Guide from Stockhead and The Australian.

The guide profiles ten companies presenting at Australia’s largest life sciences investment conference.

Australia’s pre-eminent life science investment event offers the opportunity for potential partners and investors, including representatives of global pharmaceutical companies, to engage with Australia’s world-leading biotech companies as they present the latest, detailed information about their business and technologies.

AusBiotech CEO Lorraine Chiroiu is featured in the guide. She spoke about the most significant and comprehensive strategy ever developed for the industry - Biotechnology Blueprint - as well as profiles for ASX-listed companies, expert analysis, and even a few tips on which ones to watch.

“Industry leaders worked on the Blueprint and more than 300 organisations actively helped shape it,” said Ms Chiroiu.

“We’ve ended up with a high-level document of what the industry wants to achieve over the next decade and it also goes right down to targeted tactics and what we need to see happen.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has catapulted the sector into the global spotlight and given it a really strong boost.”

The ten companies to watch include Patrys Limited (ASX:PAB), Prescient Therapeutics (ASX:PTX), Dimerix (ASX:DXB), INOVIQ (ASX:IIQ), Emyria (ASX:EMD), Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC), LBT Innovations (ASX:LBT), Microba Life Sciences (ASX:MAP), Immuron (ASX:IMC), and Argenica Therapeutics (ASX:AGN).

Registrations remain open for AusBioInvest 2022, and the conference features global and local keynotes and panelists sharing insights to support informed investment decisions in a complex scientific field, and up to 30 public and private Australian biotechnology company presentations.

AusBioInvest 2022 is proudly sponsored by the WA Government and Business Events Perth.
