New CEO for Trajan

Trajan Scientific and Medical has announced the appointment of Mr John O’Connor as CEO.

The company said founder and current CEO, Mr Stephen Tomisich, will transition to the role of executive chair.

“Having John step into the role of CEO prepares us for the next stage of Trajan’s growth,” said Mr Tomisich.

According to the company, Mr O’Connor has been an advisor to its Board over the past year. He brings over 25 years of global business experience as a director and CEO in a wide range of organisations, with annual revenues of $10 million to $1 billion.

“It is a privilege to be joining Trajan as the CEO and being able to contribute to the company’s impressive and ongoing growth path. I look forward to working with the entire Trajan team around the world, in continuing to deliver outstanding value to all of our stakeholders,” said Mr O’Connor.

Over its first six years Trajan has built a global organization of nearly 400 staff, refreshed and renewed the infrastructure of the operations acquired, and developed through collaboration a deep technology pipeline ready for commercial translation in the coming years.

Mr Tomisich said he is enthusiastic about the company's future, along with its 400 employees. “This is an exciting time for Trajan as we continue our drive to impact the world through science that benefits people.”
