AusBiotech has launched a new membership category in its 40th year, AusBiotech Connect, designed specifically for companies in their first two years of operation.
The organisation said the new membership option aims to give Australia’s newest biotech, medtech and health tech founders support from day one.
It is intended as an accessible entry point into Australia’s largest life sciences business community, supporting founders to build relationships, gain industry knowledge and access opportunities that support long-term growth.
Members will receive access to AusBiotech member discounts, events and networking opportunities, the THRIVE newsletter and other member communications, learning and professional development activities, and discounted registration for Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech, which includes the AusBiotech International and AusMedtech Conferences. Connect members will also have a voice in AusBiotech’s policy and advocacy agenda.
The membership targets early-stage, founder-led companies less than two years old as well as university, accelerator and innovation hub spinouts.
Annual membership is priced at $750 (inc GST).
AusBiotech said that companies operating for more than two years can still join through the organisation’s small, medium and large business membership categories.
