Entrepreneurs, researchers and industry professionals worldwide have been invited to apply for the 2019 Building Better Futures for Health Challenge (BBFH).
The annual competition is hosted by IDE Group. The winners will receive up to $30,000 worth of design and entrepreneurial support from IDE with the aim of bringing an idea to life and starting the process of commercialisation.
The challenge has provided over $90,000 of support and 900 hours of mentoring to the winners and contestants in previous years.
Four finalists will be chosen to participate in the final pitching event to be held in Sydney in late May in conjunction with Vivid Sydney Ideas.
IDE said proceeds from ticket sales for the final will be donated to Sight for All.
All finalists will receive mentoring from both IDE Group and our panel of experienced independent judges.
According to George Sidis, managing director of IDE, “We are a passionate group of entrepreneurs here at IDE, and the BBFH Challenge is a fantastic way for us to support likeminded people with a dream to build a business around medical technology innovation”.
Visit the BBFH Website (www.bbfhchallenge.com) to enter an idea now. Entries close midnight Monday 15 April 2019.
