Contributions now open for upcoming Australasian Biotechnology

Medtech will take centre stage as the key theme for the April 2023 edition of AusBiotech’s Australasian Biotechnology journal, and industry experts interested in sharing their insights and innovations are invited to get in touch.

AusBiotech is welcoming thought leadership articles from our valued members on the following themes: medtech, artificial intelligence and big data; real-world evidence; telehealth and; robotics.

The journal will also include a preview of AusMedtech 2023, Australia’s premier medtech conference that will be held on 24-25 May in Adelaide, South Australia. The high-profile event will bring together the key players in Australian devices and diagnostics to exchange findings and discuss new insights to challenge current thinking and advance the sector.

Australasian Biotechnology is AusBiotech’s official biannual journal, published in April and October each year. It features informative and insightful articles about the latest technologies and the most up-to-date solutions to the pressing issues and challenges that the industry faces. 

A leading voice in the biotech sector, Australasian Biotechnology reaches over 3,000 AusBiotech members and investors and is also available online. Its readership includes companies, government and university departments, research institutes, biotechnology and professional services providers nationally, and in key overseas markets.

Members with an idea for a submission are invited to send a 200-word abstract on the proposed topic to the AusBiotech communications team by 30 January 2023.

If accepted, the full article (500-1000 words) will be due by 10 February 2023, accompanied by high-resolution photos.
