Cochlear (ASX:COH) has announced that Yasmin Allen AM is resigning from its board as an independent non-executive director.
Ms Allen joined the Cochlear Board on 2 August 2010 and has served as the chair of its audit and risk, and a member of the people and culture, nomination and product and services innovation committees.
Cochlear chair Alison Deans said, “Yasmin has provided invaluable counsel during her 13 years of service to the Cochlear Board, including 11 years as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Yasmin’s extensive experience in investment banking, along with her significant experience in strategic analysis and corporate advice, have contributed greatly to Cochlear’s strategic direction. Yasmin’s expansive thinking support and insights have been instrumental in building long-term value for shareholders."
