Victorian program aims to connect organisations with digital talent pool

The Victorian government is encouraging organisations and people in their mid-career stage to access opportunities under its 'Digital Jobs' and 'Digital Jobs for Manufacturing' programs.

The Digital Jobs for Manufacturing program supports organisations to up-skill their current employees in digital skill sets.

The Digital Jobs program provides 5,000 mid-career Victorians with opportunities to gain the training and experience they need to transition into digital careers.

The program has already supported many adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic or those who have put careers on hold to raise families back into the workforce.

It provides people with a 12-week industry-backed training course and opportunities to apply for job placement with a Victorian business to put their new skills into practice. The program is free for candidates with businesses provided with a $5,000 subsidy per placement.

Candidates can apply online.
