Victorian Upper House Labor MP, Philip Dalidakis, has replaced Adem Somyurek as the State's Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade.

Mr Dalidakis is a highly regarded first-term MP who previously served as a senior staffer to Federal Labor Senator, Stephen Conroy. He is also the former chief executive of the Victorian Association for Forest Industries.

“I’m proud to announce Philip Dalidakis as Victoria’s Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade. He is a great addition to my team and will be a strong advocate for small business,” said Premier Daniel Andrews.

“We have an exciting agenda to make Victoria number one again and Philip Dalidakis will play a pivotal role in attracting business and investment to our State.”

Mr Dalidakis said the appointment was a great honour.

“I will get to work immediately delivering on our commitments to the Victorian people,” he said.
