AusBiotech, supported by AbbVie, has now opened the Student Volunteer Program for the International BioFest 2016 - the largest-ever gathering in Australian life sciences, with three major conferences in one week in one place as one integrated network.

Volunteering during the International BioFest 2016, 24 - 27 October 2016 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, will allow students unprecedented access to three major events; the International Biotechnology Symposium (IBS) 2016, AusBiotech 2016 and/or Australia Biotech Invest 2016.

The Student Volunteer Program aims to give students a competitive edge in the race for employment in the biotechnology industry and at the International BioFest 2016 will facilitate active engagement between student volunteers and conference delegates. The selected students have the opportunity to improve their communication and networking skills by working behind the scenes of this major event.

Applications are now open for student volunteers to participate at the International BioFest 2016 - and close 5.00pm (EST) 5 August 2016.
