The Board of MTPConnect has announced the appointment of Chief Executive Officer Stuart Dignam as a Director, marking a significant milestone as the organisation moves into its second decade of operation.
Mr Dignam will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Board Chair Jaala Pulford said the appointment recognises Mr Dignam’s achievements in leading the organisation into its next chapter.
“We are delighted that Stuart has agreed to join the Board of MTPConnect with his knowledge and expertise in the Australian and global life sciences sector and proven ability to drive innovation and commercialisation outcomes for Australian start-ups and SMEs,” she said.
She added that the organisation is well-positioned for sustained growth under his leadership. “With Stuart’s leadership and our expert staff across Australia, MTPConnect is well-positioned to build on its highly successful accelerator and ‘going global’ programs, now and into the future.”
Mr Dignam joined MTPConnect in 2018, was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2019 and became Chief Executive Officer in 2022. In addition to his executive role, he serves as co-chair of the Australian Antimicrobial Resistance Network, reflecting his ongoing contributions to national efforts to address antimicrobial resistance.
