No change for key industry and health portfolios

Karen Andrews is back as industry minister and Greg Hunt stays in health following Prime Minister Scott Morrison's new ministry announcement.

Ms Andrews will remain in the portfolio she has led since August last year.

Mr Hunt, who was first appointed to the health portfolio in January 2017, has also been made Minister Assisting the Prime Minister for the Public Service and Cabinet.

Ms Andrews and Mr Hunt are two of several ministers to remain in their pre-election portfolios, along with Josh Frydenburg in treasury, Mathias Cormann in finance, attorney general Christian Porter, Marise Payne in foreign affairs, Peter Dutton in home affairs and Simon Birmingham in trade.

Ken Wyatt has become the first indigenous cabinet minister, as Minister for Indigenous Australians, while former health minister Sussan Ley has returned to the ministry in the environment portfolio.

The prime minister has Stuart Robert as Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Government Services. Linda Reynolds is the new defence minister.
