MTPConnect, Australia’s life sciences innovation accelerator, has announced changes to its board, with the appointment of Professor Ian Meredith AM as a non-executive director.
Dr Nick Cerneaz, an inaugural director of MTPConnect, is retiring from the board after serving for nine years.
Professor Meredith is a leader in the medical technologies sector, having served as the executive vice president and global chief medical officer at Boston Scientific and as a clinical and interventional cardiologist, as Professor and Director of MonashHeart, at Monash Health.
MTPConnect Chair, the Hon Jaala Pulford, welcomed the appointment of Professor Meredith.
“Ian brings a wealth of clinical and industry experience and a unique global perspective to the MTPConnect Board and our work to unlock the potential of Australia’s medical product innovators,” said Ms Pulford.
