Memphasys (ASX:MEM) has announced a 12-month exclusive national supply agreement with Monash IVF Group for the Felix automated sperm selection system.
The agreement follows more than a decade of collaboration between the companies and the completion of a pivotal multi-site clinical trial by Monash IVF in 2025 that confirmed Felix’s performance in sperm selection.
The supply deal begins with a three-month rollout across two Monash IVF sites for implementation, staff training, troubleshooting and outcome data collection. If that initial phase succeeds, the full 12-month term will commence, and Felix cartridges and consoles will be deployed across Monash IVF’s network of 22 clinics in mainland capital cities.
Monash IVF conducted 12,085 stimulated IVF cycles in 2025 and holds roughly a 21 per cent share of the Australian stimulated IVF market, making it an influential anchor customer for Memphasys and providing reference site validation for broader adoption.
Commercial terms remain confidential, but Memphasys says the agreement represents the largest commercial arrangement for Felix to date and provides clear revenue visibility over the 12-month term, with a quarterly ordering schedule to aid production and cash flow planning. The company also highlights a pathway for expansion beyond the initial term through performance reviews and good faith extension negotiations and expects the anchor deployment to support market growth in Australia and internationally.
Memphasys reports that it has TGA-approved manufacturing processes, an established supply chain infrastructure, and quality systems to support the agreement and future scaling. The company positions Felix as a fast, gentle, and standardised alternative to centrifugation in sperm preparation, combining electrophoresis with size-exclusion membranes to isolate the most viable sperm cells.
On the agreement, Marjan Mikel, Chair of the Commercialisation Committee at Memphasys, said, "Executing this agreement with Monash IVF is a significant commercial milestone for Memphasys, validating both the clinical value of Felix™ and our commercialisation strategy. Beyond the contracted revenue opportunity, Monash IVF provides a world class reference customer and a strong platform to support broader adoption of Felix™ across Australia and international markets."
