The Medical Countermeasures Program is developing and delivering product solutions and strategies to benefit civilian and military health in Australia and globally. The Program invites health and medical researchers and industry colleagues from the diagnostics, medtech and pharmaceutical sectors to hear the Defence Materials Technology Centre (DMTC) Program Leader for Medical Countermeasures present details of the forthcoming Round 3 of the Program.

In an interactive session Dr Felicia Pradera will outline the objectives of this high-profile Program and detail the guidelines and timeframes for applications from prospective industry and research partners under Round 3.

Program themes include diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance and security sensitive biological agents, and encompass vaccines and therapeutics. The Medical Countermeasures Program is delivered by DMTC and supported by funding from CSIRO and the Australian Government’s Next Generation Technologies Fund.

The information session is presented by Biomedical Research Victoria and supported by FB Rice.
