AusBiotech is calling for early-stage projects to register for their Early Stage Investment Forum with submissions closing Friday 30 August.
The Forum is part of AusBiotech 2019, Australia's premier life science conference, and SMEs, entrepreneurial programmes and the research sector are invited to present their early stage projects on topics including therapeutics, medtech (devices and diagnostics), and digital health.
Submissions are open to investible projects from Australian research institutions or companies seeking seed or series A investment. Other companies are encouraged and eligible to present at Australia’s premier life science investment event Australia Biotech and Invest Partnering 2019 in Melbourne on Thursday 31 October.
The Forum offers seven-minute pitches to an expert investor panel that will include international big pharma representatives, corporate VCs and early stage investors. Each presentation will be followed by feedback. To encourage, recognise and reward early stage technology and projects, BioCurate are offering a $7,000 first prize to the best presenting team.

The Forum will take place at 9.00 am – 12.30 pm, Friday 1 November at the AusBiotech 2019 national conference, held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
