The sector is invited to 'MedTech Mingle Melbourne', described as a new opportunity for innovative companies and startups to 'speed-date' with some of Victoria’s best and brightest students looking for future work opportunities.
Businesses will also get a chance to provide a 30 second ‘pitch’ to students on the night.
The event is described as an open collaboration between research, universities, industry associations and the startup community. Participants include MTPConnect, CSIRO, Data61's Ribit, AIIA, MTAA, Peak 15 HealthTech and others.
RMIT has provided the venue for the evening.
Over 150 students from six Victorian universities have already registered to attend, including undergrads, Masters and PhD students from biomedical and software engineering, maths, science and business.
