IDE Group has announced it will again host the annual 'Building Better Futures for Health Challenge' (BBFH)
The organisation, which has hosted the event since 2016, said it provides an opportunity for individuals, R&D managers, researchers, universities, start-ups or established businesses to apply and pitch their medical technology idea.
The winner, as decided by the BBFH judges, will receive a total of $25,000 worth of IDE services. They also have the opportunity to win an additional $5,000 worth of services, awarded on the day to the winner of the 'People’s Choice Award'.
BBFH provides an opportunity for participants to obtain advice, mentorship and financial guidance from IDE and the judging panel.
George Sidis, the managing director of IDE Group, said, “The BBFH challenge is about working together to find, create, evaluate and invest in Australia’s best medical technology innovations. For us, a big part of the investment means offering specialised guidance, feedback and industry networks to help BBFH Challengers along every part of their commercialisation journey."
