Gertrude Biomedical appoints new non-executive director

Gertrude Biomedical has announced the appointment of Professor Matt Cooper to its board as a non-executive director.

Professor Cooper has an extensive record of publications and success in establishing companies. Most recently, he founded Inflazome that has been acquired by Roche. He is currently a senior research advisor with Roche.

He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has won several awards.

"Matt’s values and commercial experience aligns with Gertrude’s mission - and together, Gertrude will be pioneering transformative cancer solutions," said the company in a statement.
