Mobile and e-health company G Medical Innovations (ASX:GMV) has announced the launch of the Prizma online store.
The launch marks the first time the Prizma will be made available to consumers for direct purchase, including in Australia.
The Prizma enables users to monitor and receive immediate and real-time medical measurements, view their medical trends and share test results with any third party.
The Prizma can transform any compatible smartphone into a medical monitoring device. The Prizma has received approvals from regulatory authorities such as the FDA and TGA, and has also been approved in Europe for CE marking.
The Prizma is able to monitor a range of biometric measurements with the ability to provide and transmit real-time results and present medical data to detect trends over time. The device currently measures 1-lead ECG, heart rate, temperature and oxygen saturation. Users can create an individual patient profile via a dedicated user portal, and can share their tests results with caregivers, medical professionals, and anyone else nominated by the patient.
The Prizma uses an app available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play, through which the user can then track and monitor their vital signs.
