In a first of its kind, Macquarie University's Centre for the Health Economy has recently partnered with five pharmaceutical companies to develop Higher Degree Research (HDR) scholarships.
The partners are Amgen, Janssen, MSD, Pfizer and Roche.
The program is aimed at students willing to undertake research relevant to the pharmaceutical sector and government.
The research could cover pharmaceutical policy, such as access to medicines, medication adherence and choice, or the advancement of analytical methods, such as using real world data.
The university is now advertising two scholarships for Australian candidates - one for a second year Master of Research and another for a PhD.
More information is available online and potential candidates can register their interest directly by submitting an application through the Macquarie Higher Degree Research website.
