Cochlear to start search for new CFO

Cochlear (ASX:COH) has announced that its chief financial officer Brent Cubis has tendered his resignation and will depart the company at the end of the calendar year to pursue other opportunities.

Mr Cubis joined Cochlear in March 2017. The company said he has strengthened the capability and commercial acumen across the global finance function.

CEO and president Dig Howitt said, “We thank Brent for his valuable contributions to Cochlear, which include improving working capital management and his role in the recent capital raise. We wish him every success in his future endeavours."

The board also thanked Mr Cubis for his contribution to the strengthening of the finance function.

The company said it has commenced an executive search for a replacement.
