Cochlear announces the appointment of Caroline Clarke to its board

Cochlear (ASX:COH) has announced that Caroline Clarke has been appointed a non-executive director to its board.

Ms Clarke’s appointment will take effect on 2 September.

Ms Clarke has more than 30 years of commercial experience, including 20 years of executive leadership roles at medical devices, medical equipment and healthcare services businesses in large global companies.

She was most recently the CEO and executive vice president of ASEAN Pacific for Philips, responsible for the overall strategy, business and management of the health systems and consumer personal health businesses in 14 countries across the region.

Cochlear Chair, Alison Deans, said, “I am delighted that Caroline has agreed to join our Board. Caroline has a deep understanding of the healthcare technology industry and is a respected leader, with a track record of driving digital transformation in health systems and patient care.
