AusBiotech’s annual AusMedtech conference will feature the inaugural Digital Health Public Forum as well as sessions focussed on digital health in recognition of the latest and largest trend in medical technology.

The Digital Health Public Forum program will include a keynote presentation from Dr James Dromey, Head of Commercialisation at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where researchers are making significant advances in digital health and the transformation of health care that is assisting children.

The Digital Health Public Forum will feature spotlight presentations from innovators across the digital health spectrum, as well as an interactive panel discussion.

AusMedtech is Australia's premier medtech conference for developers, manufacturers and suppliers of medical technology, from emerging companies, engineers and clinicians to commercially-successful global companies involved in development of new medical devices and diagnostics.

In addition to the Digital Health Public Forum, AusMedtech will feature “How will E-Health change the game and save money” and international guest Robert Laird, who is responsible for all future development and innovation for the Energy Business both internal and external to J&J, will deliver: “Medical device innovation and J&J - The new reality”.

The AusMedtech 2015 program will target key commercial issues such as export opportunities, finance and investment, hot technologies and updates in the fields of IP, regulatory approvals, health economics and reimbursement and sales networks.

The program also includes a Victorian Government Briefing Session and numerous expert speakers, including a Global Medical Devices Outlook 2015 from Frost and Sullivan.
