AusMedtech programme committee refresh

AusBiotech

AusBiotech is calling for expressions of interest from members to join the AusMedtech 2020 programme committee.

This committee, chaired by Peter Bradley of LBT Innovations, is refreshed periodically and provides AusBiotech with guidance and expert advice on the most critical topics and issues facing the medtech sector. The committee members help shape the programme and lead the development of sessions.

It is anticipated that members of the AusMedtech 2020 programme committee will participate in monthly teleconferences leading up to the conference, to guide and develop the programme, including reviewing and guiding session submissions and development. AusMedtech 2020 will be returning to the Melbourne Convention Centre, 20-21 May, with the support of the Victorian Government as AusBiotech’s host state partner.

This year, Australia’s premier medtech conference grew into an eventful week with over 600 industry stakeholders featuring eight days of activities to celebrate the medtech sector. The programme committee helped AusBiotech deliver a notably gender-diverse line-up of speakers and chairs, achieving a 50/50 split across the programme. The Australian medtech sector holds some of the world’s leading innovative companies, and underpinning diversity within AusBiotech’s work allows it to highlight different perspectives and insights. AusBiotech is proud to showcase the diversity of thought leaders across the Australian life sciences industry.

Interested members should contact Rose Nesci- Vigilante, Senior Events Manager: rnesci-vigilante@ausbiotech.org for more information.

Expression of interest closes on Friday 27 September 2019.
