AusBiotech is excited to announce that nominations are now open for one new Board Director position. As a valued member of AusBiotech, you have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Australian life sciences sector by putting your name forward for this important role.
As Australia's leading national and global advocate for life sciences, AusBiotech is for its more than 3000 members, supporting their growth by building an Australian life sciences ecosystem that leads in development and commercialisation, creating high-quality, innovative life sciences companies.
The AusBiotech Board plays a crucial role in providing strategic and corporate governance oversight. Comprised of up to nine members, including the CEO, the Board members bring extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge from within the Australian biotechnology landscape. They offer deep technical, commercial, and policy expertise, making significant contributions to the sector's advancement.
We are particularly keen to receive nominations from our diverse membership base.
AusBiotech members interested in stepping up to this challenge, please submit your nomination by 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024. To nominate, you will need to provide:
- A completed nomination form;
- A 350-word biography; and,
- A recent photograph.

- November 13: Online voting and access information emailed to members; and,
- November 22: Closing date for online ballot.
