This year’s industry Awards will recognise the highest achievers in the Australian life sciences with the AusBiotech and Johnson & Johnson Industry Excellence Awards now open. The awards will be presented at AusBiotech 2017 in Adelaide.
The prestigious Awards recognise the leading lights of Australia’s world-class biotechnology and medical technology sectors, including researchers who successfully translate their discoveries into clinical practice and companies who pioneer the developments of new treatments, devices and reliable diagnostics.

Nominations for the Awards are open until Friday 29 September 2017 in the following categories:
- Industry Leadership Award;
- Australian Company of the Year; and
- Australian Emerging Company of the Year.
Nominations must outline why the individual or company should receive the Award and should not exceed 400 words. All applicants must be headquartered in Australia.

Recipients of the Awards will join a distinguished group of recipients from previous years, including Professor Andrew Wilks, Protagonist Therapeutics, ResApp Health, Professor Maree Smith, Ellume and Spinifex.
The Awards will be presented on 25 October at AusBiotech 2017, Australia’s national life science conference. AusBiotech 2017 will bring together international and Australian stakeholders of the life science industry to explore current trends and insights, strengthen partnerships across the sector and advance the industry’s standing both nationally and globally.
