Almac Clinical Services says it has commenced a number of research projects on behalf of organisations related to COVID-19 treatment options.
Almac provides services to organisations involved in clinical trials, including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Its services include commercial drug procurement, blinding of trial supply, primary and secondary packaging, clinical storage and distribution, temperature management and qualified persons.
The company said it is currently in discussions with organisations on how it can support their urgent clinical programs related to COVID-19 and other areas.
"Almac’s global facilities remain open and operational," said the company. "Almac Clinical Services has not experienced any significant operational impact due to the Coronavirus and our service levels remain unchanged. As the situation evolves, we continue to liaise with the relevant authorities to ensure successful drug delivery to patients on clinical trials."
