AgriBiotech Summit 2023 programme launched

The one-day agricultural biotechnology event held onsite alongside the AusBiotech 2023 national conference has launched its programme, featuring sessions on sustainable food production, First Nation partnerships, and capital raising in the agritech sector.

Agriculture and biotechnology converge at the one-day AgriBiotech Summit on 2 November, which today launches its programme of sessions and speakers, highlighting Australia’s innovative agribiotech capabilities and solutions.

The AgriBiotech Summit includes a keynote from Joanne Todd, Challenge Director, High-Value Nutrition, who will speak on how the government-backed High-Value Nutrition Challenge brings together New Zealand’s top scientists to work collaboratively to develop high-value foods with validated health benefits while driving economic growth.

The Summit also features panel sessions focused on the role of biotech in renewable energy production and biosecurity, partnering with First Nations for natural product discovery, and the role of open-source info and patent analytics in agritech/food tech innovation.
